  • How many practices are there and where are they held?

There are usually two practices per week (where and when are determined by age, coaches’ schedules and gym availability). Practices are held at Waukesha are schools.  Currently at Banting, Hadfield, Heyer, STEM-Whitter and Waukesha South.  Times are 4:30 – 6:00, 6:00 – 7:30 and 7:30 – 9:00.  Traditionally, younger grades are in the first two time slots with older grades in the second two.

  • How many games are there and where are they held?

Depending on grade and gender, each team will play between 30-45 games.  Teams receive the same budget. Coaches working with board support, plan out the use of that budget.  Some teams will play in 2 leagues, some will play in 1 league and tournaments and some will play in only tournaments.  Schedules are shared on team snap. Families are responsible for driving to games, carpooling with teammates is encouraged and often planned on team’s chat on Team Snap.

Practices generally start around October 20th with league games starting early/mid November. The end of season league tournament as well as other state tournaments at each grade level typically occur in early to beginning to mid-March.
